Today we are here on our blog with some very exciting news from our favorite Italian supercar manufacturer. Lamborghini has just announced that they are in the process of building a small fleet of a never-before-seen Gallardo model. The new car will be called the LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and will make its first real-world appearance at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show.
This new model is very similar to the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo race cars, but this version is actually street-legal. This will allow drivers lucky enough to get their hands on one of these specialty Lamborghinis to get race track performance just about anywhere.
When we say that this model is coming in very small quantities, we really mean it. Only 50 total units are going to be built, and only 15 of those are going to be sent to be sold on American soil. The Squadra Corse will feature th same V10 570 horsepower engine that is found in the Super Trofeo. An adjusted rear wing allows for much more downforce and an excess of carbon fiber also lower the weight of the entire vehicle by a whole 154 lbs.
While the chances of us actually getting one of these incredible vehicles in our showroom are very slim, we are sure we could connect interested Texans with the right people at Lamborghini to get their hands on one. If you would like to learn more about the performance of any of our vehicles, then we encourage you to visit our showroom located at 601 South Central Expressway Richardson, TX. The dedicated staff here at Lamborghini Dallas can discuss your car loan options and even have you behind the wheel of a new Lamborghini today.
