If you drive a new Lamborghini model, chances are you drive one for the thrill and excitement associated with the most super of supercars. But, we at Lamborghini Dallas are here to assure you that not only are Lamborghinis fun, and a thrill to drive, but they're also safe.

That's right. Did you know that Lamborghini models are outfitted with the utmost in innovative safety features? For example, the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador features anti-lock brakes, stability control, front, side and knee airbags and a high-tech security system with an ignition disable device. Not to mention, LED brakelights, door curb lights and illuminated entry are all standard fare.

And, speaking of the Aventador; recently, Lamborghini made them even safer when they recalled a myriad of models due to a headlight issue. Specifically, after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a notice that around 144 models that were built between July 15, 2011 and April 20, 2012 had headlights that didn't quite meet the U.S. federal motor vehicle safety standards. Said standards state that the headlamps can be aimed horizontally but not vertically as this position can reduce their usefulness for the owner and be dangerous for oncoming drivers.

As a result of the notice, Lamborghini has stepped right up to address the issue and take full responsibility. What's more, anyone with an affected vehicle can have their headlamps repositioned, free of charge.

Lamborghini is committed to keeping drivers safe and happy. To learn more about the Lamborghini brand, or if you have specific questions, feel free to contact Lamborghini Dallas at 601 South Central Expressway Richardson, TX 75080, any time.
