Last week, Automobili Lamborghini invited a group of VIP clients to gather at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California, for a private viewing of the spectacular Lamborghini Centenario. It was the first time that the one-off supercar was on display to U.S. clients since it made its global debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The Centenario boasts an all-carbon fiber body which is available in an exposed or painted finish. Exposed body panels serve to demonstrate Lamborghini's superior attention to detail and carbon fiber mastery. According to a recent press release, each intersection of the carbon fiber material disperses light at a slightly different angle, giving the vehicle an astounding degree of viewing depth.

The Centenario gets its motivation from a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V-12 power plant which produces 770 horsepower. The vehicle weighs 3,350 pounds and accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of more than 215 mph.

“This car is the ultimate expression of Automobili Lamborghini,” said Alessandro Farmeschi, Automobili Lamborghini America Chief Operating Officer. “The Centenario marks what would have been the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini and is a fitting tribute to our company’s founder. Its cutting design showcases the latest technologies that give our super sports cars such a competitive edge.”
