Lamborghini Squadra Corse enjoyed an excellent race weekend as the Grasser Racing Team's Huracán GT3 earned its first victory of the season at the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. During the race weekend, which was held at the Nürburgring in Germany, the Grasser Racing Team dominated the track from the beginning of the Pre-Qualifying session on Saturday afternoon.
According to the press release, Lamborghini GT3 Factory Driver Mirko Bortolotti, piloting the number 16 car, achieved the quickest result among the 54 GT3 competitors, turning a time of 1'55"022. At the beginning of the race, Bortolotti immediately jumped ahead three positions, in pursuit of pole position driver and teammate Luca Stolz. Bortolotti took the lead after a few laps, dominating all three hours of the race. Stolz, piloting the number 19 car, also had a good race overall, finishing the 84 laps in sixth place.
