We wrote before on the Lamborghini Dallas blog how the Italian automaker was creating the BMC Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Edition Impec bicycle, in conjunction with Swiss bike maker, BMC, to commemorate the important milestone in Lamborghini history.

Well, what we may not have mentioned in that previous blog entry, was that the Lamborghini-affiliated bicycle was only a half, and a much slower version of the whole story. That's because, in addition to the limited-edition Impec, Lamborghini also created the special-edition, exclusively-equipped, tech-savvy 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario. What's more, Lamborghini just presented the new model against the backdrop of the Shanghai Auto Show.

The special, 50th anniversary model will be produced with a limited manufacturing cap of just 100 models, world-wide. Each unit will sport the ever-popular rich yellow hue that has garnered quite the positive response for new Lamborghini models since it was first featured on the Miura in 1966.

Being a limited-edition supercar, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario will receive 20 more horsepower than the traditional version giving it the capabilities to produce up to 720 ponies, all with the addition of a new, aerodynamic package; this model will surely be able to fly.

Inside the Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario there's new leather in unique colors related to Lamborghini's Bolognese heritage. The colors range from Terra Emilia brown or Giallo Quercus yellow and black. Each hue range is then perfectly complemented by a brand-new diamond stitching pattern which separates it entirely from any Aventador model ever produced.

What do you think, does the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario sound intriguing? We'd love to know your opinion in a comment below. And, if you'd like more information about the Lamborghini brand or any available new Lamborghini models, please don't hesitate to swing by Lamborghini Dallas at 601 South Central Expressway Richardson, TX 75080, anytime.
