For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting news about the secretive Gallardo successor, we've finally got a name and a few facts about the new Italian model to pass along. Get ready to be rocked like a Huracán because that's what the all-new supercar is going by.

Despite our reference to the Scorpions, Lamborghini is staying true to their tradition of naming models after fighting bulls. Huracán was a brave 19th century bovine who was, according to an official company press release, made famous by a ferocious bout in Alicante, Spain. We'll have to take their word for it as our bull history is a bit rusty.

That being said, we're always current on our performance stats and we're pleased to report that the pending arrival to our Dallas, TX Lamborghini dealer is tuned to crank out just over 600 ponies. That thrust is delivered courtesy of a 5.2-liter V-10 power plant that hopefully sounds as appealing as the new vehicle looks. Admittedly, we haven't heard the growl, nor have we witnessed the Huracán being put through the paces on the track yet, but given our brand's heritage, we're not going out on a limb in expecting a major debut.

For more news about the Huracán, keep an eye on our blog and we'll be sure to announce the official release date as soon as we know it. To catch the outgoing Gallardo before it officially trails off into retirement, contact Lamborghini Dallas at (888) 400-6950 today and we can arrange a test drive at your convenience.
